Seda Pharmaceutical Development Services are going through a period of rapid expansion as we establish ourselves as a premier, science led, pharmaceutical CRO. We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Laboratory & Facilities Technician to ensure the smooth running of the lab and wider facility and provide support to the Scientists working there.
Reports to: Team Leader
Experience: You’ll be educated to at least A-Levels (or equivalent qualification) with a relevant science component

The Seda group was formed eleven years ago and has undergone a rapid growth phase during this time. The group is made up of two divisions, Seda Pharmaceutical Development Services (PDS) and Seda Clinical Manufacturing Services (CMS). Seda PDS is a well-established and highly regarded Contract Research Organisation (CRO) that provides integrated Pharmaceutical Development and Clinical Pharmacology services to enable clients to progress their novel new chemical entities through the drug development process. Seda CMS provides GMP manufacture, testing, and supply of the products we design under contract for our global client base. A key area of expertise at Seda is the pharmaceutical development laboratory work and we are looking for a motivated and hard-working Laboratory & Facilities Technician to enable the smooth running of the lab and facility, and in doing so, support the scientists to deliver their work.
The role is located at Seda’s premises in Cheadle, South Manchester.
We are looking for a keen individual who can follow procedures, be organised and methodical. You need to be a good communicator and able to work as part of a team and also on your own. You will be educated to at least A-Level in a relevant scientific discipline. Ideally you will have experience of working in a lab, but we will provide full training if you have not worked in a lab environment previously. You will be competent in the use of MS Office applications, in particular Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
